·Certificate III (Visual Arts And Technology) Part Time Module in Digital Imaging. Skills achieved in the course include a further understanding and ability to use Adobe Photoshop, with the intention to improve my skills and enable me to create better quality Internet and Print graphics.

[Awards & Exhibitions]


·Aart.boxx exhibition, Sydney Opera House 2006 The AART.BOXX exhibition displayed a collection of works from Australian artists under 25 with a disability. The exhibition ran from the 22nd to the 23rd of November 2006 in the Utzon room of the Sydney Opera House.

·Recipient of a $5000 Grant 2004 courtesy of the International Foundation for Arts and Culture. The grant is to be used for the purchase of equipment or training related to the candidate’s pursuit of excellence in a creative field.

·Year 12 Perspectives Exhibition 2003 One of ±50 West Australian high-school students chosen to have their work displayed in the highly competitive “Year 12 Perspectives Exhibition 2003” at the West Australian Art Gallery, May - August 2004. My artwork also toured to Tokyo, Japan and various rural towns across Western Australia as a part of this exhibition.

·Shaun Tan Award For Young Artists 2003 Runner up for the Upper Secondary division.

·Young Originals Exhibitor 2003 One of 48 West Australian high school students chosen to have their work displayed in the highly competitive "Young Originals Exhibition".

·Quest For Excellence Finalist 2003 finalist in the Non Functional Visual Arts (Multimedia) section of the "Quest For Excellence Awards 2003".

·Outside The Frame Art Award 2002 Awarded by the City of Armadale.

·Young Originals Exhibitor 2002 One of 56 West Australian high school students chosen to have their work displayed in the highly competitive "Young Originals Exhibition".

·Quest For Excellence Finalist 2002 finalist in the Non Functional Visual Arts section of the "Quest For Excellence Awards 2002".

·AWESOME Art Festival 2002 key artist, developer and mediator in North Lake Senior Campus' contribution to the AWESOME arts festival.

Duration:
August 2004 - Present
Role: Multimedia and IT Manager.
Duties:
- Custom graphic/web design, illustration and photography work.
- Adobe Photoshop training.
- Build and maintain computer systems including virus removal.
- Manage web-hosting servers.

2004

Organization:
Hepatitis Council of WA
Duration: 1 day (December)
Role: Artist In Residence
Duties: Inspire and guide young adults in the creation of artistic resource material for the Hepatitis Council of WA. The projects aim was to increase awareness and knowledge of blood-borne viruses among young people.

Organization: Town Of East Fremantle
Duration:December 2003 - January 2004
Role:Volunteer Recreation Assistant for the Town of East Fremantle's Teen School Holiday Program.
Duties:Assist with social, stimulating recreational activities and quality care for the disabled teenagers attending the program. Assist paid staff with duties for physical and emotional care and comfort of clients (eg. Feeding, personal cleanliness and talking/listening etc.) Participate in activities as a team member.

2003

Organization: Town Of East Fremantle
Duration: 2 days (January)

Organization: North Lake Senior Campus
Duration: 2 days (23rd and 24th October)
Role: Volunteer participant and representative for North Lake Senior Campus at the "Teachers Celebrating Teaching" function of October 2002.
Duties:Use a G4 Mac and Adobe Photoshop 7 to demonstrate my artistic and creative skills to foster interest and show teachers from other schools my innovative use of computing programs.
